In Haryana, the water level in Hathinikund barrage of Yamunanagar has started rising again. There has been some respite from the receding of flood water in Ambala district of Haryana, but flood situation still persists in many places. By Thursday morning, water had receded in most places in the Cantt and City area, but in the afternoon the Tangri again came in spate, whose water started hitting the DAV river side area. Water of Tangri river was also seen flowing on Ambala-Jagadhri road.

At the same time, water entered the house of State Home and Health Minister Anil Vij in Shastri Colony in Ambala Cantt. The ground floor of his house was filled with water. After which all the goods have been shifted to the first floor.

BJP’s Kurukshetra MP Nayab Saini had to face protests from people on Thursday. MP Saini had gone to Didar Nagar to take stock of waterlogging on a tractor. Delhi government closed Haryana border

Rain alert in these 10 cities of Haryana
Chandigarh Meteorological Department has issued orange alert for 10 cities of Haryana till 7 pm. These include Loharu, Bhiwani, Tosham, Siwani, Hansi, Hisar, Adampur, Nathusari Chopta, Fatehabad cities. According to meteorologists, the danger has not averted in the state yet. Due to incessant rains in the mountains, the state’s rivers, especially the Yamuna, could worsen the situation. However, after 15, the monsoon will again become active in the state.

The situation in Ambala has deteriorated to such an extent that people have to spend time on the roofs of their houses.

Due to break of Ghaggar towards Punjab in Tohana area of ​​Fatehabad, the speed of rapidly rising water level in Sirsa has slowed down a bit. However, due to the breach of the dam in this area, the water can engulf the villages located on the border of Sirsa.

Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal has given instructions to keep these districts on alert mode after aerial survey. In the villages where the flood water has receded, special medical camps will be organized by the government for three days.

Yamuna water filled on GT road
Yamuna water is continuously creating problems in Haryana. In the morning, the water of the Yamuna river was filled on the Karnal GT road from Delhi. Due to this the traffic on the highway became one way. Due to this, the drivers coming from Delhi to Haryana and going from Haryana to Delhi are facing difficulties. The situation of jam has also remained in many places.

Flood situation in districts of Haryana…

The water level has increased in the Ghaggar river in Sirsa. 16 thousand cusecs of additional water has come in this.

In Ambala, food and drink items are being delivered to the people trapped in the flood by helicopter.

Yamuna water has overflowed and entered Karnal’s Dabkauli village. Due to which houses have been drowned here.

Praveen Kumari, 9 months pregnant, was trapped in her house in Alauddin Majra village of Ambala. The doctors had expressed the possibility of delivery by July 10. The woman was moaning with the pain of childbirth. On receiving information about this, the Army-Naggal police took him out.

Haryana increased the concern of Rajasthan
After Delhi, Haryana has now raised the concern of Rajasthan. The water level of Ghaggar in Sirsa has reached 16 thousand cusecs today. On rising water level, about 7600 cusecs of water has been released from Oat Head towards Rajasthan Siphon. The Irrigation Department has released water in all the canals coming out of Ootu Head. The gauge has overflowed at Ghaggar’s Guhla Cheeka, Khanauri Head. While Sardulgarh in Punjab has 21 thousand cusecs of water level.

10 have died so far
Ten people died in different areas of the state due to flood and water-logging. CM Manohar Lal has announced an assistance of Rs 4 lakh to the families of those who lost their lives in the disaster and assistance for repair of houses.

Here, after Panipat, Yamuna started causing damage in the areas of Sonipat. The connectivity has been interrupted due to water filling and breaking of the road from Jajal to Tonki road. In Faridabad, water started entering the villages adjacent to the Yamuna. The water of the river has filled about 10 thousand houses.

Ambala lost contact with Hisar
Ambala’s connectivity with Hisar road is still broken. Buses are closed on these routes. There is water till the roofs in the flood-affected villages and even boats are not able to move in the streets. More than 15 villages in Kurukshetra have been cut off from the district headquarters. Buses are closed on more than 10 routes.

Due to this, the roadways is suffering a loss of two lakh rupees daily. The routes from Pehowa to Punjab are closed. NDRF team rescued people in Deewana village of the town. Cheeka and Samana on the Punjab border in Kaithal and 50 villages in Patiala area have lost contact.

Chandigarh and Bathinda route has been opened in Ambala. Now the administration is preparing to open Una and Saharanpur road. Apart from Ambala and Chandigarh in Kaithal, connectivity with Patiala in Punjab has been cut off. Contact with 50 villages in Cheeka and Samana and Patiala areas on the Punjab border has been cut off.

The Hisar-Chandigarh National Highway in Kaithal is closed beyond Pehowa. Also, the Kaithal-Patiala highway has been completely closed. Here roadways have closed the routes of many districts of Uttar Pradesh besides Jammu-Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Punjab. Buses going to Chandigarh are also going till Ambala.
