Railway workers demonstrated for OPS

Ahmedabad. For the restoration of the old pension scheme, the railway workers put forth their demands by demonstrating at different places on 21 April 2023. Under the leadership of Divisional Minister Com. Dinesh Panchal Joint Divisional Minister Sanjay Suryabali from the joint platform formed for OPS restoration, the voice was raised at OHE / TRD / PSI Electrical Depot Kankaria before duty at 07.30 am. After this, at 09.45 tea time in the Vatva Diesel Shed, the railway workers protested and kept their demands.

At 12.30 lunch time, the leaders demonstrated in the Vatva yard lobby and raised the demand for the old pension scheme. On this occasion, the leaders said that WREU and WRMS have raised slogans regarding this. Everyone has broken the silence regarding injustice while showing unity and strength. Now by giving this movement the momentum of struggle, the voice will be raised against injustice.

In the grand campaign jointly organized by WREU and WRMS, the railwaymen gathered together and showed unity and strength. During this the demand for implementation of OPS was raised. The leaders appealed to the railway workers that we should make such an effort that the echo of your shout reaches Delhi. On this occasion, WREU Kankaria Yard Branch President Prakash Shahu, Secretary Rajesh Batham, Ramesh Pillai, Sandilya, Malkesh Meena, Vinod Hooda, James, Deepak Patel from WRMS were involved in the demonstration.

Describing the performance as positive, Sanjay Suryabali, Joint Divisional Minister, WREU, JFROPS Ahmedabad Division said that the grand campaign started for OPS will continue and further planning will be done for this.
