The ED raided the MLA’s house, factory and school simultaneously.

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) raid on the premises of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MLA Jaswant Gajjanmajra from Amargarh lasted for 14 hours. During which ED recovered Rs 32 lakh in cash. Which the ED took with them. Apart from this, the mobile of Gajjanamajra and his brother has also been taken by the ED. The ED has also seized some documents from his house, school and factory.

At the same time, MLA Jaswant Gajjanamajra said that he will not come under any kind of pressure. The money recovered from them was the payment of business. Cash was often lying in the house. He will fully cooperate in the investigation of ED. 14 officers raided his place. ED officials also recorded the statements of MLA Gajjanmajra and brother.

CBI had raided earlier in the case of bank fraud
The house and business of AAP MLA Jaswant Singh Gajjanmajra was first raided by the CBI. CBI had taken 94 signed blank cheques, about 16.57 lakh cash, foreign currency, property papers etc. This recovery happened in the case of bank fraud. In which between 2011 and 2014, the MLA had taken a loan from the bank in 4 installments. This loan was about 40.92 crores. The Ludhiana branch of the bank complained about this to the CBI. In which it was said that instead of the purpose for which Gajjanmajra had taken the loan, it was used at some other place.

MLA came in discussion after 1 rupee salary
AAP MLA Jaswant Singh Gajjanmajra came into the limelight when he announced that he would take only Re 1 salary. Gajjanamajra had said that Punjab was facing financial problems. That’s why I will take a salary of Re 1 as an MLA. In the election he defeated Simranjit Singh Mann of Shiromani Akali Dal (Amritsar).
