ED’s entry was done in 2015

What is the National Herald Case?
BJP leader Subramanian Swamy filed a petition in Delhi’s Patiala House Court in 2012 against Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi and Congress’s Motilal Vora, Oscar Fernandez, Sam Pitroda and Suman Dubey for cheating the loss-making National Herald newspaper. Was accused of grabbing through misappropriation.

According to the allegation, these Congress leaders formed an organization named Young Indian Limited, ie YIL, to take possession of the properties of National Herald and through it illegally acquired Associated Journal Limited, ie AJL, which publishes the National Herald. Swamy had alleged that this was done to take over the building of Herald House at Bahadur Shah Zafar Marg in Delhi worth Rs 2000 crore.
