Couple wants to write their new gender identity in the child’s document
Munir has given this statement when Jia Paval and Jahad are going to write their new gender identity in the birth certificate and other documents of their child. Jahad gives birth to the child, but wants to name himself as the child’s father, while his trans woman partner Jiya, who has become a man to woman, wants to name the child’s mother.
Jiya Paval has filed an application for this at the Government Medical College Hospital. He said that the hospital administration has assured us that our request will be looked into. According to the Government’s Transgender Persons Act 2019, we have the right to change our gender.
Jihad gave birth to a child on February 8
The child was born on February 8 at the home of this transgender couple from Kerala. At 9 am in a government hospital in Kozhikode, Jahad gave birth to a child through operation. Jiya Paval shared the photo on social media and informed about it.
