The state funeral of Queen Elizabeth II will take place on Monday, September 19, at Westminster Abbey in London.
The funeral will take place at 11 am on September 19. A bank holiday in the United Kingdom has been approved by King Charles III for the day of the funeral of his mother, Queen Elizabeth II.
Earlier in the day, King Charles III was proclaimed Britain’s new monarch in a ceremony of the Accession Council.
Queen Elizabeth II died in Scotland aged 96 after battling health problems since last October, the Royal Family announced on Thursday.
