The Bhartiya Kisan Union (Ekta-Ugrahan), Punjab’s largest farmers’ body, has refused to extend support to the Sanyukt Samaj Morcha (SSM) led by Balbir Singh Rajewal in the upcoming state Assembly polls.
“We will neither support them (farmer bodies contesting polls) nor will we participate in the elections,” said Ugrahan while clarifying its stand on the upcoming polls.
