Punjab Election Results Live Streaming: The fierce electoral contest ended in five states (UP, Punjab, Uttarakhand, Manipur, and Goa), and the verdict on Thursday (March 10) will decide the fate of these states including Punjab, which remained at the centre of the farmer’s protest.
The battle for the 117 Assembly seats in Punjab began on February 20 that witnessed a multi-cornered contest between Congress, AAP, SAD-BSP, BJP-PLC-SAD (Sanyukt), and the Sanyukt Samaj Morcha, a political front of various farmer bodies.

Most exit polls have predicted a big win for Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal-led AAP in Punjab, with one exit poll on India Today projecting up to 76-90 seats in the 117-member assembly. TV9 Bharatvarsh-Polstrat, however, predicted 56-61 seats for the AAP in Punjab, making it the frontrunner. The ruling Congress was mostly predicted to be securing the second spot in Punjab.
The majority mark in Punjab is 69.
According to the guidelines by the Election Commission of India, the counting of votes will begin from 8 am onwards. Even as the early trends would indicate results in five states counting of votes will be completed by evening.
