Punjab 10th result declared: Faridkot’s Gagandeep Kaur topper with 100% marks, Pathankot topper with 99% result

Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) has released the 10th board result. The overall result was 97.54 per cent. The pass percentage of government schools was 97.76 percent and that of private schools was 97 percent. Gagandeep Kaur of Faridkot has topped with 650 out of 650 marks i.e. 100 per cent marks. Navjot from Faridkot stood second with 648 marks. While Harmandeep of Mansa stood third with 646 marks.

The overall pass percentage of girls is 98.46 percent and that of boys is 96.73 percent. 2 lakh 81 thousand 327 students appeared in this examination. Out of which 2 lakh 74 thousand 400 passed. Compartment number 6171 came. 653 students have failed. Pathankot topped among the districts. Here 99.19 percent students passed.

The result of music singing, music playing and Urdu was 100 percent. On the other hand, CM Punjab Bhagwant Mann will also announce award of prize money to the first three toppers of class 10th in the state on the lines of class 12th students.

It may be noted that the results of class 12th have been declared by PSEB on May 24. In Class 12, Sujan Kaur, a student of a private school in Mansa, became the state topper with 100 per cent marks. While Shreya Singla secured the second position with 99.60 marks and Navpreet Kaur secured the third position with 99.40 marks.

CM will give respect amount of 51-51 thousand rupees
CM Bhagwant Mann has congratulated the three toppers of class 12th, Sujan Kaur, Shreya Singla and Navpreet Kaur. Along with this, as per the promise, all the three topper students will be honored by giving 51-51 thousand rupees. CM Mann has given information in this regard by tweeting.

The total result of Punjab is 92.47 percent.
The overall result of Punjab has been 92.47 percent. As per the result, 3637 students have failed while 18569 students have got compartment. The pass percentage of girls is 95.47, while the pass percentage of boys is 90.14. Most of the students passed in science stream, whose pass percentage is 98.68. The 12th exams were conducted in the month of March.

Gurdaspur remained ahead with 96.91 pass percentage
District Gurdaspur topped with 96.91 pass percentage. Students and their guardians were busy checking the results on the website pseb.ac.in throughout the day.
