A shocking case has come to light from Una city of Gir-Somnath district in Gujarat. In a government school here, the teacher punished a class 10 student for 200 sit-ups for coming to school late. Due to this his condition worsened the next day and now he is admitted in the hospital. The doctors told that there was swelling in his kidney. An inquiry has been ordered in the matter.

The son of Maheshgiri Goswami, who runs a tea-snacks cart in the city, Karan is a class 10th student in the Granted School. Karan had reached the school prayer meeting late on Wednesday. Due to this he was punished for holding 200 sit-ups. The next day, Karan’s health suddenly deteriorated. His father took him to the hospital, but when his condition deteriorated, he was admitted to a private hospital in Rajkot.
