The allegations of alleged involvement of political meddling in the Pune Porsche case have now been leveled up with the latest claims of Sassoon Hospital’s dean, who has asserted that one of the doctors accused of replacing the blood samples of the teenager involved in the accident had been made the head of the forensic department at the insistence of a state minister and an MLA.

Naming Maharashtra Medical Education Minister Hasan Mushrif and Ajit Pawar faction’s MLA Sunil Tingre, the hospital’s dean, Vinayak Kale, during a press conference said that both the political leaders wrote a letter to the Sassoon Hospital and asked for Dr Ajay Tawade to be made the head of its Forensic Medicine Department.

Notably, both Mushrif and the MLA belong to the Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar-led faction of the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP).

Recreation Of Crime Scene Digitally

Amid the ongoing probe, the Pune Police have decided to recreate the crime scene digitally because the accussed is a minor and cannot be taken to spot, sources reported. Additionally, the statements of the two minors, who were sitting on the backseat of Porsche, have been recorded.

Meanwhile, it has also been learnt that the cops have so far received three complaints against Agrawal. Chief Minister Eknath Shinde is keeping a close watch on the case and is in touch with the officials regarding the updates.
