Priyanka Chopra is Christmas ready and she is letting everyone know about it.
Priyanka Chopra is already in the Christmas spirit. The actress, on Tuesday, took to her Instagram Stories and revealed that she and Nick Jonas have begun prepping for Christmas. Priyanka shared a picture of the fireplace with red stocking pinned to it. The stockings varied in sizes. Besides the red socks, the fireplace also featured other decorations. Sharing the photo, Priyanka said, “Grateful.”
This will Priyanka’s fifth Christmas celebrations with her husband, Nick, and her second with daughter Malti Marie. The actress seems to have hinted that the family is going to have an intimate Christmas celebrations and possibly indoors. Last year, Priyanka celebrated Christmas in New Jersey.
Priyanka’s new post comes a couple of days after she urged for a ceasefire in Palestine. The actress, who closely works with UNICEF, shared a post by the organisation and joined the call for ceasefire. The post shared by Priyanka featured a quote by UNICEF’s executive director, Catherine Russell. “Children need a lasting humanitarian ceasefire.”Children need a lasting humanitarian ceasefire,” read the post.
“Today, the Gaza Strip is once again the most dangerous place in the world to be a child. After seven days of respite from horrific violence, fighting has resumed. More children will surely die as a result. Before the pause, more than 5,300 Palestinian children were reportedly killed in 48 days of relentless bombing – a figure that does not include many children still missing and presumed to be buried under rubble,” an excerpt of the post read.
“We call on all parties to ensure that children are protected and assisted, in accordance with their obligations under international humanitarian law. All children in the state of Palestine and Israel deserve peace and hope for a better future – statement by UNICEF executive director, Catherine Russell, on the resumption of fighting in Gaza,” read the caption of the post.
On the work front, Priyanka has a few projects in the making. This includes Head of States with John Cena and Jee Le Zaraa in Bollywood with Alia Bhatt and Katrina Kaif.
