Pregnant Pooja Banerjee Worries Covid-19 Scare Will Force Her to Stop Working

New Delhi: The recent arrival of the Omicron variant and surge in Covid-19 cases has forced the world to change its plans and Pooja Banerjee is no different. Banerjee, who is expecting her first child with her husband, swimmer Sandeep Sejwal is due in March this year. She is currently seen as Rhea Mehra on Zee TV’s ‘Kumkum Bhagya’.

Banerjee had been working continuously for the shoots till December 29th, but seeing a sudden surge of cases in Maharashtra, she is having second thoughts. Earlier the actress had said in an interview that work would not take a back seat for her but presently, she wants to prioritize her health.

The actress is diligently following the advice of her doctor and taking all necessary precautions. She recently spoke in an interview about how people around her were testing positive and has come to terms with the fact that this is the way of life.

The actress said that she has not made any communications with the producers of the show calling it quits as she wishes to analyse the ongoing situation. However, if worse comes true, Maharashtra goes under a lockdown and the shoot is organised in some other state (like Goa, during the previous lockdown), then she will obviously back off. Her medical conditions won’t permit this arrangement as her delivery is due.

Fans have been praising her dedication towards work and have drawn inspiration from it. Her maternity wardrobe has been appreciated a lot as well.
