A relief package of Rs 218.40 crore has been given for Punjab by the Central Government. But now politics has started on this too. BJP state president Sunil Jakhar has demanded an account of the money spent from the state government. CM Bhagwant Mann also got angry on this.

In fact, Rs 7,532 crore was given by the central government to the flood affected states across the country. Out of which Rs 218.40 crore was given to Punjab. Which is to be given in two installments. But BJP state president Sunil Jakhar sought an account from the state government and said that the Center had given money to the Punjab government, but it was not used properly. If the state government had got the canals cleaned and repaired properly, this situation would not have happened. Not only this, questions were also raised on the relief work.

CM Mann got angry on Sunil Jakhar
Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann also got infuriated on the question of seeking accounts of Sunil Jakhar. Bhagwant Mann said that its installment was released by the Center on July 10 and they are asking for the account till July 12. At the same time, in his tweet in the past, he has also talked about not answering the words of the opponents. In which he clarified that he is currently busy helping his people. Only then will he reply to the opposition.

Center did not ask for user certificate
At the same time, while issuing this relief package, the Central Government has not asked for any kind of user certificate. As per the instructions, the amount is released on receipt of the utilization certificate of the amount released in the previous installment and the report from the State Government on the activities carried out from SDRF. But this time in view of the circumstances, it has been forgiven while releasing this package.
