In Punjab, the political battle over the excise policy of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government has intensified. Akali leaders led by Pramukh Sukhbir Badal will meet Governor BL Purohit today. In which former MP Balwinder Singh Bhundar, former ministers Madan Mohan Mittal, Anil Joshi and MLA from Banga Sukhwinder Sukhi will also be involved.

The Akali Dal is demanding a high level inquiry into the Punjab excise policy. Akali Dal alleges that AAP has done a scam of 500 crores with this policy. The Delhi Excise Policy, which came under the scanner of CBI, was also implemented in Punjab. However, the Punjab government has denied these allegations. He says that the new policy has increased the income of the government.

Earlier there were 50 to 100 wholesalers: There are 3 types of work in liquor i.e. Manufacturer, L1 i.e. Wholesaler and Retailer. The AAP government has controlled the L1 i.e. wholesaler. Earlier 50 to 100 were close to L1. He used to keep the entire company’s liquor with him and sell it to the retailer. The retailer had a choice. He used to buy what he gave cheaper.

AAP government changed the conditions and benefited: AAP government changed the conditions in this and threw out the old ones to give L1 to its people. They imposed conditions that the manufacturer and retailer cannot take L1 ie wholesaler’s license. Apart from this, there should be a turnover of 30 crores in 3 consecutive years for the wholesaler. One person can take only one L1.

Those whom L1 in Delhi, they also have in Punjab: Sukhbir said that I got the list out. The people who got L1 in Delhi are also in Punjab. In these, a form has been registered against one person in Delhi. The second firm is Delhi based Family.
