A case of poisoning of 18 stray dogs has come to light in Eluru district of Andhra Pradesh on Saturday. The police have caught the accused. Police said that the matter is of Chebrole village. The accused has been identified as one K Veerbabu. During interrogation, he told that the village sarpanch and secretary had asked him to kill the dogs by giving him poisonous injections. More than 100 stray dogs died in Siddipet
Earlier, a similar case had come to light in Telangana, where more than 100 stray dogs were poisoned and thrown into an empty well in Thigul village of Siddipet district.
