PM’s message on Army Day- We are proud of the army: Army Chief said- Ready to deal with every situation on LAC

Army Day program was organized on Sunday at Govindaswamy Parade Ground in Bengaluru, Karnataka. Army Chief General Manoj Pandey also participated in this. He said that we are ready to deal with every situation on LAC. The Army Chief thanked the government for providing adequate weapons to the army.

On the other hand, PM Modi has given a congratulatory message to the army on Army Day. He wrote on Twitter- On Army Day, I convey my best wishes to all military personnel, veterans and their families. Every Indian is proud of our army and will always be grateful to our jawans. They have always kept our country safe and are widely admired for their service in times of crisis.

Parade outside Delhi for the first time
Every year 15 January is celebrated as Army Day in the country. A grand parade is organized in Delhi on this day, but for the first time in history, the Army Day parade has been organized at the Regimental Center of the Madras Engineering Group (MEG) in Bengaluru.

5 regimental brass bands included
In the Army Day Parade, contingents of the Madras Regiment, Artillery Regiment, Para SF, Bombay Engineer Group, Mahar Regiment, MEG, a cavalry contingent from the Army Service Corps and a military band participated in the parade march. It consists of 5 Regimental Brass Bands. The entire contingent comprises 3 officers and 57 other ranks.

Tribute to Field Marshal KM Cariappa
The organization of this historic event is a tribute to the valor, sacrifice and services of the people of the southern states to India. It is also a fitting tribute to Field Marshal KM Cariappa. Indian Army personnel will also build sports facilities and organize friendly matches with youth and students. The message of unity will be given by having food with the local people.

75 thousand saplings will be planted on environmental protection theme
In the Southern Command, 75,000 saplings will be planted on the theme of environmental protection for Green India. There will also be other events including instruments and band performances, quiz competitions, painting and essay writing, cyclothon, motivational talks from the valor.
