As India ushers into a new year, Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the nation in the final episode of ‘Mann Ki Baat’ for this year on Sunday in which he heaped praise on Rohit Sharma & Co for their commendable run in the ICC World Cup 2023. Team India was the only unbeaten side in the group stage of the tournament. But their campaign was derailed in the final when they suffered a batting collapse against the Aussies and lost the second World Cup final to them.
