Notably, Ganesh Chaturthi or Ganpati Utsav, starting on the fourth day of the Hindu calendar month Bhadrapada, is marked with much enthusiasm in Maharashtra and other parts of western and southern India, with lakhs of devotees thronging pandals to seek blessing from the deity.
Every year, hundreds of unique idols of Lord Ganesha grab our attention, with large parts of the country, especially Maharashtra, welcoming Bappa to his mortal abode.
