Plans for the construction of a critical care unit (CCU) adjacent to the college were also disclosed, signalling a comprehensive approach towards bolstering healthcare infrastructure in the region.
The selection of a Ranchi-based company through a rigorous tender process to oversee the construction underscores the government’s commitment to ensuring quality and timely completion of the project. The Jharkhand Building Construction Corporation Limited will oversee the entire project, ensuring adherence to standards and timelines.
Furthermore, the development of a 300-bed Karma Medical College on a sprawling 30-acre plot across the National Highway in Karma signifies a broader vision to transform Koderma into a prominent medical and educational hub within the state. These initiatives hold the promise of not only improving healthcare accessibility but also creating avenues for quality education and employment opportunities in the region.
