PM Modi’s Council Meeting: What’s On The Agenda

The prime agenda for the Council of Ministers meeting is to formulate a strategy for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections in the country and to review the performance of the NDA government over the past two terms of the Narendra Modi government.

Reportedly, PM Modi will also seek feedback from the Union ministers regarding the implementations of multiple government welfare schemes and initiatives launched by the NDA in the past decade. He will also discuss strategies for the future given the elections.

BJP-led ruling National Democratic Alliance (NDA) has expressed confidence in retaining power at the Centre for a third term under Modi on the back of its development and welfare planks. The EC has begun reviewing the preparedness of various states for holding the Lok Sabha elections.
