PM Modi shows ‘V’ sign during Ahmedabad roadshow | India News – Times of India

NEW DELHI: PM Narendra Modi is in Gujarat the morning after BJP scored spectacular victories in four of the five states that went to polls. Gujarat too is due for assembly polls later this year.
Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel and state BJP president C R Paatil joined the Prime Minister in a roadshow from Gandhinagar to Ahmedabad.
Modi held up the “V” sign for the crowd that thronged his roadshow- a reminder of the favourable verdict the BJP received in the state polls.
Later in the day, Modi is also scheduled to address a rally of over one lakh elected representatives of panchayat bodies as part of his two-day visit to Gujarat, a state BJP leader said.
