BJP is in power in Gujarat for 24 years.
For the last 24 years, the Bharatiya Janata Party is in power in Gujarat. Congress has been the main opposition party of BJP in every election here. But, this time Aam Aadmi Party has also entered. There are also possibilities of changing the equation with this. After winning the Punjab elections, the Aam Aadmi Party has put full force in Gujarat as well. In such a situation, the contest can be triangular.

Last time BJP won 99 seats
The total number of assembly seats in Gujarat is 182. 40 seats are reserved in this. 27 seats are reserved for Scheduled Tribes and 13 seats are reserved for Scheduled Castes.
