Plea filed in Kerala HC seeks regulation of Congress’s Bharat Jodo Yatra

A plea has been filed in Kerala High Court against Congress’s Bharat Jodo Yatra. The plea has sought regulation of yatra as it causes traffic issues. The plea has sought free movement of vehicles and that the connectivity should not be affected due to the rally.

The Congress party has taken out a 3,570 km-long Bharat Jodo Yatra that started from Kanyakumari in Tamil Nadu on September 7 and would conclude in Jammu and Kashmir.

Currently, the Bharat Jodo Yatra is criss-crossing through Kerala and will cover a distance of 450 km, touching seven districts over a period of 19 days.
