Darshan Thoogudeep turned 47 years old on February 16. Popularly known as the Challenging Star of the Kannada film industry, the actor celebrated his birthday in a grand style, treating over 30,000 fans to a sumptuous meal. Darshan has a huge fan following in Karnataka. On Wednesday, the actor along with Kateera fame director Tharun Sudhir went to an event where a huge 6.2 feet tall chocolate statue of Darshan was sculpted. The actor was amazed to see a statue of himself which was made entirely of chocolate.

The event was organised in Ramnagar, Karnataka. The fans prepared a special gift for the actor in the form of a 6.2-foot chocolate idol of Darshan. His first reaction was captured by the photographers in which he was looking at the statue while being mesmerised by his statue. The actor never had his statue sculpted. Darshan celebrated his 47th birthday in grand style while thanking his fans for their constant love and support. During a media interaction on his special day, Darshan spoke fondly of his fans in Mangalore. He also expressed his gratitude for the affection he receives from his admirers in Mangalore, emphasising the strong bond he shares with them.

Addressing the audience at the Silver Festival program, Darshan emphasised the value of hard work in achieving success. He humbly acknowledged his journey in the film industry and expressed regret if he had unintentionally hurt anyone during his prolific career in the film industry. The birthday feast organised by Darshan for his fans featured an array of delectable dishes, including vegetable pulao, chilli bajji, Mysore Pak and sambar rice. He also treated his fans with portions of rice, curd and milk.

Darshan will be next seen in the movie titled Devil. It is directed by Prakash Veer and is expected to be released in theatres this year in October. The music of the movie is composed by B Ajaneesh Loknath.
