Petrol, Diesel Prices Today On February 12, 2024: There is a slight decline in the prices of crude oil in the international market. At around 7 am on Monday morning, WTI crude is being sold at $ 76.38 per barrel. At the same time, Brent crude is trading at $ 81.76 per barrel. Oil marketing companies in the country have released the latest rates of petrol and diesel. In India, fuel prices are revised every morning at 6 am. Before June 2017, price revision was done every 15 days.

In India, the pricing of petrol and diesel is subject to influences like freight charges, value-added tax (VAT), and local taxes, resulting in different rates across states.

In Maharashtra, petrol has become cheaper by 25 paise and diesel by 24 paise. Petrol has become cheaper by 21 paise and diesel by 20 paise in Rajasthan. Apart from this, oil has also become cheaper in Odisha, Telangana, Himachal Pradesh and Kerala. On the other hand, in Haryana petrol has become costlier by 18 paise and diesel by 17 paise. A slight increase in the prices of petrol and diesel is also visible in Gujarat, Karnataka, UP and West Bengal.
