Patwari usurped the compensation amount of about Rs 2 crore for damaged crops in Uchana area of ​​Jind district of Haryana. Instead of depositing the amount in the farmers’ account, Patwari Sunny got it deposited in the accounts of his friends, including his girlfriend. Police has arrested Patwari 10 days ago.

This was fully revealed after questioning. The police have also arrested 3 other people including his girlfriend in this case. He was produced in the court on Friday and taken on remand for 4 more days.

29 lakh and luxury car recovered
DSP Sandeep Kumar said on Friday that on the complaint of Naib Tehsildar Prateek of Uchana, a case was registered for scam in the compensation amount, adding the compensation amount to others’ account by forging signatures. Police is making recovery from Sunny Patwari after arresting him. Out of 2 crores, till now Rs 29 lakh, a vehicle worth around Rs 4.5 lakh has been recovered.

Patwari fond of betting and debauchery
DSP said that the maximum amount was deposited by Sunny Patwari in his girlfriend’s account. Money was transferred from the girlfriend’s account to those who were known to her. Sunny Patwari squandered the compensation amount of the farmers by falling in the wrong company. Along with betting on cricket matches, he also indulged in debauchery.

This scam was done for their luxury, betting in cricket. The investigation of the entire matter is going on under the supervision of DC-SP.

Fraud done with the farmers of 8 villages
The arrested Sunny Patwari had 8 villages in Uchana tehsil. In which Tarkhan, Khatkad, Khedi Mansania and other villages are included. The farmers of this village were cheated along with the farmers.
