New Delhi: Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone and John Abraham starrer ‘Pathaan’ is one of the most anticipated films of 2023. The audience is eagerly waiting with bated breath to see Shah Rukh Khan set screens on fire with his action-packed avatar, as he returns to the silver screen after a hiatus of four years.
The makers have the audiences’ excitement heightened to the core with the intense character posters and the power-packed teaser that gave a glimpse of the all the action and drama that the film awaits.
‘Pathaan’ is one of the most awaited films of 2023, that marks Shah Rukh Khan’s return to the silver screen after a hiatus of four years. Directed by Siddharth Anand, the YRF production also stars John Abraham in a pivotal role. The makers of the film adapted a different strategy and had released the music of the film before its trailer.
The first song of the film, ‘Besharam Rang’ drew a lot of controversy because of the saffron colour bikini sported by Deepika in the song. The Hindutva activists across the country have raised objections to the dance sequence where Shah Rukh Khan is wearing a green colour shirt and Deepika is flaunting a saffron outfit.
‘Pathaan’ is being touted as India’s biggest ever action spectacle that audiences have ever seen on the big screen. The visually spectacular Yash Raj Films’ action extravaganza, ‘Pathaan’, is part of Aditya Chopra’s ambitious spy universe and will show Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone and John Abraham in an all new thrilling avatar.
‘Pathaan’ will be the first Indian film to release in ICE (Immersive Cinema Experience) format.
The ICE theater format includes side panels which along with the main screen, create a peripheral vision, giving a sense of enhanced immersion with a background contrast of colours and motion. Internationally, films like ‘Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness’, ‘The Batman’, ‘Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore’, ‘Top Gun: Maverick and Morbius’ have released in ICE THEATERS in this high-end format.
The film will release in theatres on Jan 25, 2023 in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.
