Passenger going to Patna reached Udaipur by mistake of Indigo Airlines. On realizing the mistake, he was sent to Patna the next day. On the passenger’s complaint, the Director General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has ordered an inquiry. This is Indigo’s second mistake in a month. The airlines had taken the passenger going to Indore to Nagpur on 13th January.

On January 30, a passenger named Afsar Hussain had booked a ticket on flight 6E-214 to go to Patna. He mistakenly boarded IndiGo flight 6E-319 to Udaipur. A DGCA official told- We are seeking a report in this matter. The probe will ascertain why the passenger’s boarding pass was not scanned properly. How did he get on the wrong flight?

The airline issued a statement on Friday saying – We are aware of the incident with a passenger on 6E319 Delhi-Udaipur flight. We are in talks with the authorities in this matter. We apologize for the inconvenience caused to the passenger.
