Partha is the scapegoat, the opposition wants the resignation of the chief minister

Mamata removed Partha Chatterjee from the cabinet on Thursday. In the afternoon, he was removed from all posts in the party. However, the opponents of the state are not satisfied with that. They are vocal in demanding the resignation of the Chief Minister. They claim that after the arrest of Partha Chatterjee, Mamata has lost her moral right to hold the post of Chief Minister.

On this day, CPM leader Vikas Bhattacharya said, ‘Mamata cannot avoid the responsibility of this corruption. This investigation is not possible without the Chief Minister. So the ED should immediately arrest the Chief Minister.’ He also said, “If there was minimum morality, the Chief Minister would have resigned by now.”

Practically the same thing has been heard from BJP state president Sukanta Majumder. He said, ‘Partha Chatterjee is being made a scapegoat. Everyone knows who the real culprit is. The Chief Minister asked his party MLAs to convey the list of recommendations to Partha Chatterjee. This corruption extends to the 14th floor of Navanna.

Mamata Banerjee announced the removal of Partha Chatterjee from the cabinet after the cabinet meeting on Thursday afternoon. Due to which Partha’s industry, information technology and council offices have now come to Mamata. On this day, the Chief Minister said that he is thinking about reshuffle in the cabinet.

Trinamool Disciplinary Committee held a meeting in the afternoon. After this, in a press conference, Abhishek Banerjee said that Parth has been expelled from the party until the investigation is over. He has also been removed from 5 positions in the party.
