A case of hoisting of Pakistani flag has come to light in Saria area of Sarangad-Bilaigarh district of Chhattisgarh. Phalwale Sohail Khan’s 15-year-old daughter hoisted the Pakistan flag on the terrace of her house. At present the accused has been arrested.
After the video of the incident went viral, the BJP protested and lodged an FIR.
After the pictures went viral on social media, the Saria police immediately reached Sohail Khan’s house and the flag was taken out. The BJP leaders sat on a dharna outside the Saria police station. Amidst increasing pressure, the police has finally arrested the accused by registering an FIR against him.

Sarangarh Police informed that on October 25, on the written complaint of Arun Kumar Sharap, a resident of Saria, the police have registered a case against the accused under Section 153A of the IPC. The accused Sohail Khan has also been arrested.

Saria police station in-charge Kiran Gupta said that at around 2 pm on Tuesday, he had received information about waving the Pakistani flag. After getting the information, the flag was removed from the house. On the other hand, people on social media said that this incident should not be taken lightly.
The police had reached the house of the accused after the pictures went viral.

Pakistani flag was waving from Eid Miladunnabi
Saria police station in-charge Kiran Gupta is investigating the whole matter. During the investigation, they came to know that the flag of Pakistan is being hoisted in Sohail Khan’s house not from today but from the day of Eid Miladunnabi on 8 October.

TI Kiran Gupta told Dainik Bhaskar that the 15-year-old daughter of Sohail Khan had made this flag at home. The police also say that his daughter did not know much about the Pakistani flag. In terms of beauty, Sohail’s daughter had put moon and stars in the flag. This flag was put on the top of the house on the day of Eid Miladunnabi. On which the eyes of the people fell on Tuesday.
