Drones from Pakistan side infiltrated Indian territory five times in Dera Baba Nanak sector of Gurdasuper district in Punjab. The drone entered Indian territory five times between 10.22 pm and 2.52 pm on Monday night. On hearing the sound of the drone, Border Security Force (BSF) personnel used Ilu bombs and fired 33 rounds after which the drone returned.

On the Indo-Pak border, the drone first entered the Indian side near BP number 43/7-8 of BSF’s Border Outpost (BOP) Abad in Dera Baba Nanak sector. This drone hovered over Indian territory for 23 minutes i.e. 10.45 am. When the BSF jawans fired 6 rounds using Ilu bombs for illumination, the drone returned.

About 47 minutes later, at 11.32 pm, the drone entered India near BP Nangar 44 and returned to Pakistan after 19 minutes. The drone re-entered the Indian border from this place at 12.43 pm. When BSF jawans fired 13 rounds and fired two Ilu bombs, the drone returned to Pakistan after 19 minutes.

For the fourth time at 1.37 pm, the drone entered Indian territory for the third time from this place and returned at 1.56 pm after hovering for 19 minutes.

For the fifth time at 2.34 pm, a drone infiltrated from the Pakistani side and returned after 18 minutes.

During 5 infiltration in a single night, BSF jawans fired 33 rounds towards the sound of the drone and used 11 Illu bombs for illumination. After this the search was started in the entire area.

First time so much intrusion in one night

This happened for the first time that there were five drone infiltration from Pakistan side in a single night. Anti-social elements sitting across the border now turn off the lights of the drone and fly it so that the BSF does not know its location. In the darkness of the night, it is not easy to target a drone flying at a height of three hundred to four hundred meters just by listening to it.
