Pakistan violated ceasefire on the International Border in Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday morning. Pakistani Rangers started firing on patrolling squad of BSF in Arnia sector. This firing was done when Indian soldiers were working to fence the border. BSF jawans also retaliated. BSF has informed that there has been no damage to the soldiers.

BSF officials informed that the first firing was done from Pakistan side on both sides. After which India retaliated. About 15 to 20 rounds of firing took place from both the sides. Let us tell you that after about 8 months, ceasefire was violated by Pakistan. Earlier in January, there was firing from Pakistan in Arnia sector. During this, a 50-year-old infiltrator was killed by an army soldier.

Officials said senior BSF officials have reached the border post and are closely monitoring the situation.

Record ceasefire violated in 2020
In the case of breaking the ceasefire, Pakistan broke all the records of the last 17 years in 2020. This year ceasefire has been broken by Pakistan more than 4100 times. There were 128 ceasefire violations in November, while 394 times in October. In the year 2020, 21 people of Jammu and Kashmir died in the ceasefire, while more than 70 people were injured. In 2019, there were 3233 ceasefire violations. Ceasefire was broken 405 times in 2015 and before that 583 times in 2014.

In 2003, there was an agreement regarding ceasefire.
In November 2003, the governments of India and Pakistan signed a ceasefire agreement on the LOC. According to which the armies of both the countries will not fire at each other. For three years i.e. till 2006, this ceasefire was accepted by both the sides. But, since then Pakistan has continuously violated ceasefire. Under the guise of which there were not only attempts to infiltrate from terrorist launchpads built close to the LOC, but the Pakistani army also helped in infiltrating.

Pakistan took the body of the terrorist
India handed over the body of Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorist to Pakistan on Monday. The special thing is that for the first time in 20 years, Pakistan has recognized a terrorist as its citizen. An army official said that Pakistan has always denied taking bodies of its civilians involved in terrorist activities in Jammu and Kashmir in the past.

Tabarak Hussain (32), a resident of Sabjakot village of Kotli in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK), was caught on August 21 last month while trying to infiltrate from the LoC in Nowshera sector of Rajouri. During this he was shot in the leg and shoulder. The security forces took him to the hospital, where he was operated upon. The soldiers also donated three units of blood to save his life.
