On 3 April, the deputy speaker in the National Assembly of Pakistan rejected the motion of no confidence. And then President Arif Alvi dissolved the National Assembly on the recommendation of the Prime Minister. Imran Khan has advised the President to hold mid-term elections. Till then the President has issued a notification asking Imran Khan to continue as Prime Minister.
