PAK Vs ENG T20 WC: England Lifts T20 World Cup for the Second Time

PAK Vs ENG T20 World Cup: England became the champions of the ICC T20 World Cup on Sunday i.e. November 13. England won this trophy for the second time by defeating Pakistan by five wickets.

Ben Stokes scored an unbeaten half-century after Sam Curran’s brilliant performance gave the team victory. The bowlers restricted Pakistan to a low of 137 runs.

England has now become the first team to hold the 50-over World Cup and T20 World Cup titles simultaneously. 12 years ago, Paul Collingwood’s team defeated Australia to win the first ICC title for England in 2010.

Pakistan needed a great bowling performance to stay in the match. They did so to some extent, but the goal was very small.

In the very first over, Shaheen Shah Afridi bowled England’s semi-final star Alex Hales with a score of one. Captain Jos Buttler opened fire with the bat and England.
