Owaisi’s entry in the Dharma Sansad ruckus: AIMIM MP said- conference was not possible without Congress; Things said against Muslims were ignored

All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) President Asaduddin Owaisi has also jumped in the controversy over abusing Mahatma Gandhi in the Parliament of Religions of Raipur. Owaisi, MP from Hyderabad, has blamed the Congress for all this while calling the Dharma Sansad a ‘massacre convention’ on social media. He said that there was opposition to the things said against Gandhi in this conference. FIR registered, but whatever was said against Muslims has been ignored.

Asaduddin Owaisi wrote, Kalicharan abused Gandhiji and praised Godse at the ‘Massacre Conference’ in Raipur. Objecting to this, Ram Sundar left the conference in anger. Ram Sundar is the chairman of Chhattisgarh Gau Seva Commission and has a cabinet rank. He was the chief patron of the Parliament of Religions. The conference would not have been possible without the Congress. Not only was Mahatma Gandhi abused under the patronage of Ram Sundar, but it was also said that the aim of Islam was to take over the nation.

Did not find Kalicharan’s statement objectionable- Owaisi

Owaisi said, “Kalicharan wants that MPs, MLAs, ministers-prime ministers should be such that there should be a fanatic Hindutva. Islam will dominate the country because of people not voting. People should vote more and more and choose such a king.” Who is a fanatic Hindutvawadi, whatever the political party may be. Did Ram Sundar not find this statement objectionable? Is this statement not condemnable? When Kalicharan was giving this speech, Congress leader Pramod Dubey, BJP leader Satchidanand Upasane were in the audience. And Nand Kumar Sai was also present.No one broke his silence.

When Kalicharan saluted with folded hands, the crowd started clapping with slogans, but Ram Sundar’s speech did not get such support. This clearly shows the mentality of the people present there. There were talks of Hindu Rashtra, genocide of Muslims, love jihad under the patronage of a Congress cabinet minister rank leader. The FIR was registered only on the statement of Gandhiji. Do we understand that our genocide is not something to worry about?”

“Why did Congressmen take part in such a convention”

Asaduddin Owaisi said, the question is not just about arrest. Why did Congress take part in this conference? On December 25, Congress MLA Vikas Upadhyay, Congress’s Pramod Dubey (Chairman of Raipur Municipal Corporation) participated in the Kalash Yatra. Former BJP chief minister Raman Singh was also present.

Owaisi wrote, in the conference other militants also gave many genocidal statements. Everything happened under the patronage of the Congress leader. The saints used to say that without the formation of a Hindu nation, the welfare of the country cannot be achieved. It is clear that both the BJP and Congress helped the extremists. Despite what happened in Haridwar, the Congress not only gave permission to this Parliament of Religions but also participated in it.
