Owaisi was fired upon near the toll plaza in Hapur on February 3 during the 2022 UP assembly elections. The attackers were Sachin Sharma and Shubham Gurjar.
Both of them have been granted bail by the Allahabad High Court. Against this Owaisi has moved the Supreme Court. A bench of Justice MR Shah will hear on Friday.
Owaisi was left narrowly

One accused was immediately arrested by the police, while the other accused surrendered. When both of them reached their village after getting bail, they were given a warm welcome.
Z security was found after the attack
After the attack in Hapur, Owaisi was given Z security. Although he had said in Parliament that I do not want Z security. I’m not afraid of death. We all have to leave the world one day. The police had arrested both the attackers Sachin and Shubham.
