OSSC Recruitment 2023: Candidates will be able to edit their application forms once the registration process ends from November 24 to December 27
The Odisha Staff Selection Commission (OSSC) has commenced the online application process for the Vital Statistics Assistant posts. Candidates who are eligible for the Vital Statistics Assistant posts can visit the official website of OSSC at ossc.gov.in and apply online. Candidates should fill out the application form before the registration process concludes on, December 21.
Through this recruitment drive, the Odisha Staff Selection Commission plans to fill a total of 234 Vital Statistics Assistant seats under the Directorate of Health Intelligence and Vital Statistics, Odisha. Candidates will be able to edit their application forms once the registration process ends from November 24 to December 27.
It is important to note that the commission has asked that no physical copy or hard copy of the online application form should be submitted.
OSSC Recruitment 2023: Vacancies Details
Unreserved (UR): 116 posts out of which women hold 40 posts
Scheduled Tribes (ST): 51 in total out of which there are 17 posts for women
Scheduled Castes (SC): 39 seats out of which women hold 13 posts
Socially and Economically Backward Classes (SEBC): 28 (out of which women hold 9 posts).
OSSC Recruitment 2023: Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification: Must have passed Graduation with Mathematics or Statistics from a recognised university in India to be eligible for the Vital Statistics Assistant posts. Moreover, candidates should also have knowledge of computer applications.
Age Limit: To be eligible for the post, the minimum age limit of the candidates should be 21 years while the maximum age should be 38 years, as on January 1, 2023.

Step 1: Go to the official site of Odisha Staff Selection Commission at ossc.gov.in.
Step 2: Then, look for the ‘Apply online’ link on the homepage and click on it
Step 3: A new window will be displayed on the screen, click on the Vital Statistics Assistant posts link available
Step 4: Register yourself online and log in to the account with the credentials
Step 5: Fill out the application form as mentioned
Step 6: Complete the process by making the payment of the prescribed application fees.
Step 7: Once done, go through all the details and click on submit.
OSSC Recruitment 2023: Selection Procedure
Candidates should note that the recruitment process will comprise a preliminary exam, a main written examination, and a computer skill test, followed by a document verification round. It is further to be noted that the dates for the preliminary and main examinations will be announced in the first quarter of 2024.
