OnePlus Addresses Motherboard Crash Issue, Asks Customers To Reach Out To Customer Service

OnePlus has acknowledged recent motherboard issues reported by some users of its OnePlus 9 and 10 Pro smartphones in India. Over the past week, several users have complained that their devices suddenly stopped working, with repair costs quoted by the company often exceeding the current market value of the phones.

The problem seems to predominantly affect OnePlus 9 and 10 Pro models, with many users alleging that the issue arose after installing a recent software update. As reported by News18, one user reported that OnePlus quoted a repair cost of Rs 42,000 to replace a faulty motherboard — a price nearly equivalent to purchasing a new OnePlus 10 Pro.
