OnePlus 12 Design And Colours Confirmed Via Official Renders

The OnePlus 12 is slated to make its debut on the company’s 10th anniversary celebration on December 4. As the launch date draws near, rumours, speculations and teasers of the upcoming device are also doing the rounds. The OnePlus 12 is expected to debut first in China, followed by the global debut which is anticipated in January 2024. We are about a week away from the official launch of the OnePlus 12 and the according to official renders of the OnePlus 12, we know some of the new features and capabilities. The renders suggest that the OnePlus 12 will come in three colour variants: white, black and a marble green-like option. Notably, OnePlus has gone big on green colour this year, and the OnePlus Open and OnePlus 11 were also released in green colour variants.

To recall, the OnePlus 11 was released in India in February 2023, at the company’s Cloud 11 event. The OnePlus 10 Pro and the OnePlus 9 series were launched in March.

OnePlus 12 Expected Specs And Features

The in-depth renders suggest that the OnePlus 12 will come with an alert slider, IR blaster, metal frame, and a stereo speaker arrangement. On the front, the OnePlus 12 would boast a curved display with a punch hole, crafted by China’s display making giant BoE. The display is equipped with features including up to 3,000 nits of peak brightness, which is more than the Apple iPhone 15 Pro Max, enhanced colour accuracy and disclosed touch latency, according to the company.

Render images showcase a circular camera island containing three camera sensors and a pair of sensors featuring the Hasselblad logo. Moreover, the OnePlus 12 will be the company’s second smartphone to incorporate a periscope zoom lens. Currently, there is no available information on features such as IP rating and wireless charging support for the upcoming OnePlus 12. Furthermore, details on aspects like eSIM support, camera sensor resolution, and other specifications are yet to be disclosed. Anticipated updates on these particulars are expected in the coming days.

The OnePlus 12 is scheduled to be officially launched in China on December 4, in line with with the handset maker’s 10th-anniversary celebrations. The handset will compete with phones like the iQoo 12 and Oppo Reno 11 Pro, and the latest leak says that the device will be launched in three colour options. Running Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, the device will come with the company’s proprietary ColorOS 14 UI based on Android 14.
