In Gaya, a mob thrashed three youths on Wednesday night on charges of theft. One of these youths, Babar, died during treatment on Thursday. Rest 2 youths Sajid, Rukmaddin are undergoing treatment at Magadh Medical College. The case pertains to Diha village in Belaganj police station area.
The family says that the boys were assaulted as part of the conspiracy. Babar used to work in Kolkata. He had gone to the village to get labour. Babar told the whole story to the police before his death.
Before his death, Babar had told the police constable Baldev about the whole incident. According to Baldev, Babur’s statement was taken before his death. He had told that he had gone with Sajid, Rukmaddin at night to roam with Scorpio. He was making a khaini after getting down near the Diha bridge. Meanwhile, the villagers came calling thieves and thieves and attacked the three with a deadly attack. All three were thrashed fiercely.
