In Kerala’s Kozhikode, two boys gang-raped their friend after forcing her to drink alcohol. The girl, a nursing student, had gone to meet the two boys at their rented house.

The incident came to light when the college administration found the girl missing. They arranged a counseling session for her, where she opened up about the gangrape. The college administration informed the girl’s parents, following which the girl lodged a complaint at the Kasaba police station in Kozhikode. The police have registered a case against both the accused.

Friends called home and carried out the incident in a drunken state
The girl is from Ernakulam district. On the invitation of her friends, she had gone to his house in Kozhikode, where both were already drunk. They forced the girl to drink alcohol and sexually abused her when she became unconscious. After this, both the boys fled leaving the girl in their house. When the girl regained consciousness in the morning, she called her friend and narrated the incident, who helped her to leave.

One of the accused is from Kozhikode, while the other is a student in Ernakulam. The police have started investigating the matter on the complaint of the girl. Police has also recovered CCTV footage of both. Police say that soon the accused will be nabbed.
