NTA JEE Main 2023 Notification Not Releasing This Week: Confirms NTA

The NTA JEE Main 2023 Notification is not releasing this week. The NTA Director-General Vineet Joshi has said that the NTA is not releasing the JEE Main 2023 Schedule is not releasing this week as well. What this means is that students who are anticipating the JEE Main 2023 Dates will have to wait for some more time to pacify their preparations accordingly.

Although the release of the NTA JEE Main 2023 Exam Dates still remains uncertain, the official JEE Main 2023 Notification is expected to be released soon. The JEE Main 2023 Registration Process is likely  to begin soon after the release of the official notification. The official JEE Main 2023 Notification will be released on the official NTA website – nta.ac.in, and registrations would be hosted on jeemain.nta.nic.in.

Interested candidates will be able to check the detailed JEE Main 2023 Eligibility Criteria, Age Limit, Syllabus and other details on the NTA website, soon after the release of the official notification. Candidates can also refer to the JEE MAIN 2021 Notification and Brochure for reference.

The JEE Main is a national-level entrance exam for admissions into prestigious engineering and architecture institutions in India like IITs, NITs, IIITs, SPAs, etc.. Also, the JEE Main Exam is generally held twice in a year. A candidate can also appear in both the examinations wherein the better score among both the exams will be considered for counseling/admissions.

However, reports also have it that the Ministry of Education is mulling to chart a Fixed Exam Calendar for JEE Main, NEET, and CUCET 2023, to ease confusion and help students avoid last minute hassle.

Notably, the JEE Main Exam consists of two papers: Paper-1 and Paper-2. The Paper-1 is conducted for BE and B.Tech admissions while the Paper-2 is held for admissions into B.Arch and B.Planning courses. The Paper-1 consists of 90 marks while the Paper-2 has 105. Both the papers are conducted in the CBT (Computer Based Test) mode.
