Nothing Phone 2a recently went on sale in the Indian markets but, it appears that consumers are not very satisfied with the overall performance of the device. A number of posts are doing rounds on social media in which people are complaining about lagging issues and other problems with Phone 2a. It is evident that the smartphone maker has been following these posts, and has also released a software update which will fix the issues.
Nothing has now been confirmed that another update is being rolled out for Phone 2a units in the country. But. what aspects will this upgrade cover?

In terms of the camera, the upgrade will enhance colour accuracy and saturation, optimise the brightness and tones of Ultra HDR photos, fine-tune the bokeh effect in portrait mode, optimise colour consistency between the main and ultra-wide cameras, and enhance the overall performance of the camera.
If we talk about the general improvements then this upgrade will optimise the overall performance of games, including BGMI and more, optimise the animation stutter when launching and exiting apps, and enhance the animation of the Recorder widget.
If we talk about the bug fixes, then this upgrade will optimise the flickering issue when launching apps from the lock screen, it will fix an issue where the home screen and lock screen wallpapers are displayed abnormally, it will fix an issue where the Quick Settings incorrectly displayed Wi-Fi or cellular data information, it will resolve the issue of the screen going black during incoming calls in specific scenarios, and it will also optimise the overall stability of the system.
Based on the update log, it’s evident that Phone 2a has encountered numerous issues, indicating dissatisfaction among users who purchased Phone 2a from the brand. However, Nothing has been proactive in addressing these concerns, including issues related to accessing the lock screen and more.
