In an exclusive interview with India Today, Congress MP Manickam Tagore, who was suspended along with three other party MPs from Lok Sabha today, said that they have taken up people’s issues and are not afraid of suspension.
Manickam Tagore said, “We are not afraid of suspension, because we are not speaking about our own privileges. We are speaking about people’s issues. We are not agitating about one individual’s protection. We are asking about people’s issues. We are speaking about price rise; we are speaking about LPG price rise. We are speaking about GST rates.”
