PRAYAGRAJ. The North Central Railway Employees Union has taken out a proclamation procession on June 3, 2023, drawing the attention of the railway administration towards the negligence being done in the treatment of railway workers. General Secretary Rupam Pandey alleged that the recognized unions are enjoying all the facilities, medicines and treatment only for themselves and their office bearers while not taking any care of the common railway workers. The railway workers are upset and they are not even getting the minor facilities approved.
In the meeting of the North Central Railway Employees Union, the employees of various departments apprised him about the problems being faced in the Central Hospital. After this Under the leadership of General Secretary Rupam Pandey, a procession was taken out in the Central Hospital with announcement. A 10-point memorandum was given to Dr. Sanjeev Handu, Medical Director, Central Hospital, U.M.R./Prayagraj. On this occasion, office bearers of all branches of Prayagraj and headquarter divisions and a large number of employees were present.
General Secretary Rupam Pandey told that for years no one paid attention to the problems of the patients in the railway hospital. Leaders of recognized unions are taking facilities, medicines and treatment for themselves but other employees/patients are deprived of even basic facilities. The memorandum has been given with the intention that action will be taken on it as soon as possible. Rupam Pandey mourned the accident in Balasore, Odisha and said that may God give peace to the departed souls and give solace and strength to the bereaved families. Also wished for the speedy recovery of the injured. Two minutes silence was offered for the peace of all the departed souls.
