Tenders kept coming out but the road was not built
1. Earlier this road came under RCD. RCD had floated the tender. The construction work agency stopped the work after completing the work for a few kilometers. After this, the department got the road repaired half a dozen times for traffic. In the year 2020, this road came under NH Jayanagar. Its tender was done in the same year for about 28 crores. The contractor did not perform the work within the stipulated time. On this NHAI removed him. The matter is now going on in the court.
Material rate increased, trouble in work
Contractor Ravindra Kumar, who did the road construction work, said that the rate of material has increased. Also the payment is pending by the department. Due to this the construction work is getting stalled. At the same time, the contractor of NHAI Jayanagar Executive Engineer Locationath Mishra has been removed. Again the tender process will take at least 3 months. In view of the present rainy season, the department will get the road repaired.

Road Construction Minister Nitin Naveen said that the investigation team has been constituted after coming to the notice of the matter. The officer has been ordered to investigate. Action is being taken against the concerned contractor.
