In Goa, the Trinamool Congress has promised to give Rs 5000 per month to one woman from each household with a Grihalakshmi card to cater to 49% of the women.

Women’s vote has emerged as a major electoral force. Keeping in view the aspirations of half the population, politics is changing in the upcoming assembly elections. Even before the announcement of the elections, the political parties are engaged in cultivating women. Congress promised to give 40% tickets to women in UP and also released it in Pink Manifesto for them.
