Nepal’s Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba along with his team reached Varanasi on Sunday morning. The PM of Nepal, who arrived at Babatpur airport by a special plane from Delhi, was accorded a grand welcome by CM Yogi Adityanath. During this, along with the Prime Minister of Nepal, his wife and officials of Nepal were also present. On his way to the city from the airport, the Prime Minister of Nepal was welcomed everywhere.
After worshiping at Baba Kal Bhairav Temple, the Prime Minister of Nepal and his wife reached Shrikashi Vishwanath temple to worship. Nepal PM consecrated Baba Kashi Vishwanath with Vedic rituals in the sanctum sanctorum of Baba Darbar.
During this, along with traditional worship under the leadership of Vedic Brahmins, took stock of Kashi Vishwanath Dham. Seeing the wonderful shade of the Dham, the PM of Nepal and the team accompanying him were overwhelmed. Sher Bahadur Deuba will leave from Varanasi in the afternoon after worshiping at Kalbhairav Temple, Kashi Vishwanath and Nepali Temple.
Earlier from the airport, PM and CM reached Kashi’s Kotwal Kalbhairav temple by road. The crowd present on the roadside here welcomed the Nepali PM with the annals of Har Har Mahadev.
CM Yogi will hold a meeting with the PM of Nepal
After having lunch at the hotel located in Nadesar, Nepal’s PM and CM Yogi Adityanath will hold talks on various issues for half an hour. A grand welcome was given to the Prime Minister of Nepal on his arrival in Varanasi. On his way from the airport to the city, he was greeted by school students and social organizations all along the way. Artists from Ayodhya performed folk dance in traditional dress on the stage just opposite the Circuit House.
On this stage, artist Dharmendra Kumar, who came from Lalitpur, welcomed the CM of UP including the Nepalese Prime Minister by performing Bundeli cultural program and traditional Rai dance. During this, Indian and Nepalese flags kept flying in the hands of all the artists. This entire event was organized by the Department of Culture, Uttar Pradesh.
The tribals of Sonbhadra welcomed the Prime Minister of Nepal by performing a folk dance at the Saraikaji bus stand. Natwari folk dance at the gate of Seth Jaipuria School located in Tarna, tribal dance of Sonbhadra at Sant Atulanand Tiraha, Rai dance of Bundelkhand at Circuit House, Dhobia of Awadh at Police Line intersection and Faruwahi folk dance of Purvanchal, artists welcomed PM Deuba did.
