NEET seat sold for 20 lakhs: CBI said – Fake candidates who appeared in the exam instead of the student used to get 5 lakhs

After interrogating 8 people arrested in NEET scam, CBI has made big revelations on Tuesday. CBI said that these people used to claim to get confirmed seats in medical courses. A seat was sold for Rs 20 lakh. In a report, quoting CBI sources, it was told that instead of the student, Rs 5 lakh was given to the fake candidate who gave the exam. The remaining amount out of 20 lakhs was distributed among the middlemen and the rest.

The agency arrested 8 people from Delhi on Monday. 6 of them had solved the question paper of NEET. The kingpin of this entire racket is Sushil Ranjan of Safdarjung, who used to appoint paper solvers and take payment from them.
